Designer Michelle Murphy was born in Los Angeles where she attended Otis Parsons and FIDM studying fashion design. Learning her trade by developing lines for established designers, stylists and manufacturers, she has gone on to design streetwear lines and shoe collections for global brands such as RVCA Clothing, Sanctuary Clothing, Howe Denim, Michelle K Shoes. and JNCO Industries. These collections have been featured in trade and industry publications worldwide which include The Apparel News, WWD, Teen, Seventeen, YM, Lucky, Jump, Cosmopolitan, You, Jalouse, Essence, URB, BPM, Vice, Fashion West, Sportswear International, Sport & Street, Men's Brand, Denim Book, Nylon, Paper and Lemonade. Michelle has created a new women's street influenced line emphasizing the aesthetics of casual fashion. Focusing on cosmopolitan style, music and design, this vision of this line was founded for the fashion savvy, youth culture whose minds dream and dream and design. |
